About Me
My name is Robin Hamilton-Pennell, and I have been interested in computers since I was a child, writing my first computer programs when I was in elementary school. I am a student at the Metropolitan State College of Denver, supporting myself while going to school part-time with contract programming work (I am actually taking this semester off to devote more time to work, but will resume classes in the spring). Below you will find the latest version of my resumé. I may be open to new contracts at this time, though my schedule changes often. Please feel free to contact me at robin at pozytron.com if you are interested in my services or have any questions. I no longer list my telephone number due to unwanted calls. However, if you'd prefer to speak by phone, just drop me an email first and I'll be glad to arrange a meeting.

Work Experience
July, 2007 - Present
CynoCast, Inc., Westminster, CO
- Ongoing development work for this Internet startup. I helped pick up where two other developers left off, so part of the challenge was getting familiar with another developer's code, with little to no documentation. The site has not gone live yet.
July, 2007
Growing Local Economies, Denver, CO
- Created the website for this independent business (full disclosure: it was for my mother).
June, 2007
EnableAgency, Denver, CO
- Created a simple tool allowing you to preview custom Adobe Flash video overlays on any web site for this Denver-based business. (Please note that I am not a Flash developer; I did the PHP backend that overlaid the flash video on another person's site, not the Flash itself).
October, 2006 - Present
The Timoney Group, LLC., Denver, CO
- Provided contract PHP, MySQL and JavaScript/AJAX programming services for this Denver-based business. Worked on a variety of tasks, mainly in the GIS field, ranging from XML processing, Google Maps, Microsoft VirtualEarth, and Yahoo Maps API integration, to entirely Ajax-based Web 2.0 applications. A recent proof-of-concept application can be viewed here.
October, 2006 - May, 2007
Azukaru, LLC., Boulder, CO
- Developed a Ruby on Rails site for this Boulder-based startup, which offers educational and team-building activities and games. I also provided PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript/AJAX programming services. The site was built with scalability in mind and a comprehensive version-control and deployment system.

Willco Limited, United Kingdom
